Obituary: Helen Stefan, retired Auxiliary Services worker
Helen D. (Baj) Stefan, 77, of Amherst, a retired facilities services worker with Auxiliary Services, died Jan. 8 at home after a period of failing health.
Born in Hadley, she was a 1945 graduate of Hopkins Academy.
She worked as a dining commons attendant and housekeeper for more than 17 years, retiring in 1992.
She leaves two sons, Edward A. Stefan Jr., of Vista, Calif., and Richard Stefan, of Erie, Pa.; a brother, a sister, her longtime companion, William Boynton, of Amherst; and nieces and nephews.
