Botelho addresses conference in Toronto
Maria José Botelho, assistant professor of Teacher Education and Curriculum Studies, participated in the 7th biennial conference of the International Association for the Improvement of Mother Tongue Education.
Botelho presented “Reading Literacy Narratives: Critical Multicultural Analysis of Representations of Reading, Writing, and Speaking in Children’s Literature” at the conference held June 23-26 at the University of Toronto.
Botelho was one of the two delegates from the United States at the meeting, where 22 countries were represented.
