Nagurney gives plenary talk at Rome conference
Anna Nagurney, the John F. Smith Memorial Professor at the Isenberg School of Management, delivered a plenary talk at the NET2009 conference held May 28-30 in Rome.
The title of her presentation was “To Merge or Not to Merge: Multimarket Supply Chain Network Oligopolies, Coalitions, and the Merger Paradox.”
The aim of the conference, held at Sapienza University, was to enhance scientific cooperation among network researchers in different fields, including mathematics, physics, operations research, economics and the social sciences, as well as in finance.
Speakers at the conference came from Ireland, Italy, Turkey, Norway, Australia, Bulgaria, Romania, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Argentina and Ukraine.
