Fall move-in to affect some parking areas starting Aug. 29
Several campus parking lots will be closed to accommodate fall move-in according to eddie Hull, executive director of Residential Life.
Parking lots Red 66 and Blue 46 will be closed for first-year move-in on Wednesday, Aug. 29 from noon to 5 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 30 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Alternate parking for Red 66 is available in Green 26 and Red 45. Regular permit holders in Blue 46 should use Green 34, Blue 32 or Red 62.
First-year move-in will also affect Green 27 and all section of Red 43 on Aug. 29 from noon to 5 p.m. and Aug. 30 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The two lots will not be closed to permit holders but there may be heavy traffic in and around those areas. Alternate parking is available in Red 45, Green 26 or Yellow 12.
Purple lot 44 behind North Apartments will be closed from Aug. 29 at 8 a.m. until Monday, Sept. 3 at 2 p.m. for fall move-in. Alternate space is available in Purple 44 across from Cashin House on Eastman Lane or Yellow lots 13 and 12.
