Faculty & Staff Campaign for 2012-13
Members of the campus community are invited to participate in the 2012-13 Faculty & Staff Campaign. Gifts can support student scholarships, a specific college or department, an athletic program, or one of hundreds of special programs you choose.
Recognizing the importance of growing the culture of philanthropy on campus, a fund of $500,000 has again been established to match gifts given by current or retired faculty and staff during the 2012-13 academic year. The matching offer expands the strength of giving to the campus and departments people care about. As in previous years, pledges made by Dec. 31 by current and retired faculty and staff will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $10,000.
This year’s campaign is being co-chaired by James L. Craig, biological sciences librarian in the Science and Engineering Library; Robert Feldman, dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences; Jeanne Horrigan, director of New Students Orientation; Arthur Kinney, Copeland Professor of Literary History and director of the Renaissance Center; and Ken Toong, executive director of Auxiliary Enterprises.
“Your participation in the Faculty & Staff Campaign is an inspiration,” say the co-chairs. “It tells our students, alumni, parents and friends that you believe in this university. Your gift says that you are dedicated to helping our students make a difference.”
Current employees can opt for payroll deduction and forms are available online. Gifts may also be made with credit or debit cards at the campaign website.
Details of the matching programs are spelled out the Faculty and Staff Campaign website.
