Dean of Students seeks hearing board members
The Dean of Students Office is recruiting members of the university community to serve as Student Conduct Hearing Board members for the 2012-13 academic year.
Membership is open to undergraduate and graduate students, staff and faculty who meet minimum eligibility requirements.
Hearing boards are composed of students, faculty and staff who have displayed a commitment to upholding the community standards set forth by the Code of Student Code and by the mission of the university and are trained in the Code of Student Conduct processes. Hearing board members play a crucial role in the adjudication of student conduct matters and ensure that students and/or student organizations are given the opportunity to have their cases heard by a representative body of the university.
Applications are due to the Dean of Students Office by noon on Friday, Sept. 14.
