'Celebrate Amherst Block Party' is Sept. 13

Students and the area community are invited to a block party in downtown Amherst on Thursday, Sept. 13 from 6-10 p.m.

A large section of downtown will be closed to vehicular traffic and opened up to fun. The event will feature two stages with bands and DJs, food from downtown Amherst’s wide array of restaurants, and entertainment of all sorts.

There will be shuttles from satellite parking at the Amherst Regional High School and the UMass Amherst Visitors Center.
