Alumni panel discusses fashion business and careers

Eight alumni who are now top-level executives from the retail fashion sector will speak about industry trends, challenges and opportunities during a panel discussion on the “Business of Fashion” on Thursday, April 25 at 3 p.m. in the Graduate Reading Room in the Campus Center.
 
The panel will also touch on the role of research, product development, merchandising, licensing and customer experience.
 
The panelists are:

  • Abbey Doneger ’73, president of Doneger Group
  • Jim Biolos ’85, chief financial officer of Farylrobin Fashion Footwear
  • Marc Schuback ’83, senior vice president, general counsel & secretary of dELiA’s, Inc. Stores
  • Danielle LaFleur ’98, vice president, men’s and kid’s merchandising at Tommy Hilfiger
  • Teresa Lomotan ’89, vice president, stores and store operations at Henri Bendel
  • Joanne Wolfe ’91, senior vice president, planning and allocation at Marmaxx
  • John J. Tighe III ’91, senior vice president/general merchandise manager, men's division at JC Penney Company, Inc.
