In the Loop is an online informational site for faculty and staff at theUniversity of Massachusetts Amherst. Managed by the Office of News & Information, In the Loop serves as a central clearinghouse for information and officialnotices related to UMass Amherst affairs. Its goals are to provide accurateand regular news of campus activities and accomplishments, promote internalcommunications, and instill understanding and pride in the institution.
