Tuesdays, 11:30 am to 1 pm, April 9, April 16, April 23, April 30 (4 sessions)
Campus Center 165, except CC 162 on April 30
Many of us know what to do when we get sick, but we’re not sure about how to be—or stay—healthy. In this four-session class, we will practice mindful movement exercises culled from yoga and dance and self-massage for workplace wellness. We will learn mindfulness practices for focusing and stress reduction. And we will explore resources for good health and nutrition, developing a personalized wellness plan, and getting the support you need for your own wellbeing. Wear comfortable clothing. —Leslie Fraser and Alison Ozer, instructors
1 daytime (10 am to 2 pm) and 1 evening (5:15 to 9:15pm) session to be arranged,
102 Draper Hall
This 3- to 4-hour course is the standard and most cost effective CPR course for any person who wants to be educated in the basics of CPR and AED use. We recommend this course for any student, faculty, or community member who wants to become trained in helping treat sudden cardiac arrest. Bring a $55 check for the certificate on the day of the class, or you may pay before the day of the class.
