Do you like fresh, organic, local produce and herbs?
For the very first time, all of the sustainable food groups on campus are getting together to create the UMass Amherst Student Farmer's Market.
Featuring the UMass Student Farming Enterprise, The UMass Permaculture Garden and Gardenshare--this market will have produce and herbs (grown with love by your fellow students!) for sale EVERY friday starting September 16th. Happening right along side the UMass Student Farming Enterprise CSA share pick-up, it's a great place to swing through stock your fridge with farm fresh goodness and meet your student farmers!
Better yet? You can't beat the location. Just across from the UStore in the Campus Center, this revolutionary market will take the place of the row of vending machines and the sushi stand that used to fill the hallway. Parking is available in the Garage (if you are shopping at the market, you get a free 30 minutes!)
So come support your fellow students and their efforts to bring healthy, local and organic food to the UMass community!
