The NEW Campus Sustainability Explorer is now LIVE!
Open Campus Sustainability Explorer
The Campus Sustainability Explorer is a comprehensive online mapping tool that geographically represents all areas of sustainability on the UMass Amherst campus. This tool was developed by the Green Building Committee in collaboration with Campus Planning and the Sustainability Initiative for the purposes of communicating and educating the campus community, those with interest in sustainability, and the general public. The Explorer also acts as a decision support tool for various groups and stakeholder around campus, providing information on existing conditions for a number of academic, facility, and operational aspects.
The list of projects presented here is not exhaustive and is always growing. If you know of a project on campus that should be highlighted in the Explorer, or for more information about the Explorer, please contact the Green Building Researchers in Facilities Planning.
