Steve Goodwin

As a member of the Environmental Performance Advisory Committee (EPAC) Steve hopes to create a place for students to go when they're interested in sustainability. He currently chairs the Education, Outreach and Research subcommitee. A former environmental activist in college, Steve co-founded the University of Virginia’s (UVA) solar counsel and renewable energy lobby.

While overseeing the College of Natural Sciences, Steve also teaches courses like Introduction to Biology. His involvement in EPAC consists of incorporating sustainability into academics, which he believes is the key to obtaining a more sustainable campus and diverse student body.
