Meg Little

Permaculture Committee Member

Biography

Meg Little is in her fourth and final year at UMass Amherst, where she studies Environmental Science and Spanish. Thanks to some outstanding courses and professors, she became aware of the disparity between the complex world we live in and the individualistic society we've created. She has been involved with UMass Permaculture for two years and for her, permaculture has changed the way she sees herself and her connection to the living world. She believes that the sustainability initiatives taking place on campus demonstrate the potential that students and universities have to contribute to the shift that?s taking place around the world, in which people are realizing that we simply cannot continue thinking and living the way we do. She hopes that the UMass Permaculture Initiative will open the hearts and minds of others, and inspire them to make a change. Meg enjoys a good conversation, biking, yoga and lavender!
