Director of Auxiliary Enterprises
Ken Toong, Director of Auxiliary Enterprises at UMass, is doing all he can to implement sustainable practices on campus.
In the future, Ken hopes that at least 50 percent of the food consumed on campus will be locally grown and use as many local supplies as possible. He also wants to encompass as many organic components as possible, expand the amount of composting on campus and reduce carbon emission by 50 percent, as stated in the campus’ Climate Action Plan.
