Emily Round is an Environmental Design student at UMass. She grew up in Amesbury, MA spending her days catching frogs and snakes much to her mother’s dismay. Her early love of nature turned into a passion for sustainable environmental and social issues. Solutions to these problems are simpler than they seem and she is confident that the Franklin Permaculture Garden will help the UMass community understand that. When she isn’t double fisting watering cans in the garden she enjoys feeding people, unfamiliarity, avocados, and campfires.
