Event Description
This Friday @ 6:30 in Bartlett Lobby, a representative from 350.org will be meeting with SUMAC and anyone else who wants to be involved in a fossil fuel divestment campaign on the UMass campus. We will be developing a strategy for our efforts on campus.
Our goal is to have the UMass Board of Trustees remove any endowment funds from socially harmful companies. Divestment is a powerful strategy for fighting institutions that are domineering over people and destructive of our environment.
