Dear Author,

as we have since the first SULA, GLSA Publications will be publishing the proceedings of SULA 3. SULA 3 follows the NELS 35 submission guidelines. Template files and style sheets including instructions are now available below.

[pdf][word template][latex class]

The style sheets are formatted in such a way that you can see a concrete example of the format requirements. Please note that all articles submitted for publication must conform to the specifications given in the style sheet and should not exceed twenty pages (single-spaced).

If you are unsure how to achieve the correct format using your word processor (e.g. the use of headers and footers, setting margins, etc.), please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help. Please direct all questions regarding submissions to the SULA editors at sula@linguist.umass.edu, not to the GLSA.

Deadline
The deadline for submission is June 30th, 2005. We will send you an e-mail confirmation once we have received your manuscript. If you do not plan to submit your article, please notify us at your earliest convenience. Otherwise, we will assume that all the authors (including alternate speakers) intend to submit their work for publication. Please keep the SULA editors informed of any changes in your contact information (especially your e-mail address) after submitting your manuscript. The GLSA will contact you regarding publication and author's discount when the volume is close to completion. Please note that the GLSA does not copyright SULA volumes, so articles published in the SULA proceedings can also be submitted and published elsewhere.

Best wishes,

Michael Becker and Andrew McKenzie (editors for SULA 3)
