University of Massachusetts, Amherst
April 23rd & 24th

Call for papers
The University of Massachusetts, Amherst will host HUMDRUM 2005 on April 23rd (Sat) and 24th (Sun).
This workshop is an opportunity for students to present their work on any area of Optimality Theory. Anyone who wishes to present is welcome to do so.
Talks are the usual 20 minutes + 10 minutes discussion (though if you would like a shorter talk with longer discussion or just a shorter talk, maybe on a speculative topic, that could be accommodated).
Please email submissions by February 28th, along with the area of your talk (acquisition, phonology, syntax etc.) and the title if available, to Shigeto Kawahara kawahara@linguist.umass.edu.
There is a possibility that GLSA may publish the proceedings of HUMDRUM 2005 if there is sufficient interest.
