Master of Regional Planning candidate
I am an environmental scientist with 24 years of experience in field biology (wetland science specialization), land use planning, permitting, and most recently, regulation of contaminated sites. My previous degrees include: Master of Environmental Studies from The Evergreen State College (Olympia, WA) and Bachelor of Science, Wildlife Ecology from the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL). Over the span of my career to-date I have had the privilege of working in governmental, private, and non-profit sectors, all of which have provided me with a greater breadth of understanding of and perspective on environmental issues we are faced with on a day-to-day basis. After having had the opportunity to work for a few years as a city planner I found that I really enjoyed it and I decided to return to school to get a formal education in this field.
