Reccommended Electives

The Landscape Architecture Program and the larger University of Massachusetts resources can provide students with exciting learning opportunities in several areas. These University resources can either broaden one's education or can help students to develop strength or expertise in an aspect of landscape architecture for which the student possesses a special talent or expresses an interest. Below we have listed three areas of concentration. Some students may wish to select electives in several of these areas to broaden their education. Others may wish to take several of these electives in one of the concentrations, to develop a special strength in a given concentration. Some may wish to select electives from the large number of relevant courses offered at UMass.
