Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture.


B.S.L.A., California Polytechnic State University- San Luis Obispo, 1985; M.L.A. and M.U.P., University of Michigan, 1995; Ph.D. in Natural Resources and Environment, University of Michigan, 1997.

Teaches courses in open space planning and research methods. Research interests include environmental psychology and landscape planning. Co-author of With People in Mind: Design and Management of Everyday Nature, published by Island Press, 1998.
