in Landscape Architecture, Michigan State, 1966; M.L.A., Harvard,
1968.
Teaches courses in landscape construction, design theory, and
design. Research interests lie in design theory, adaptive responses
to climate and computer applications to design and construction.
He is an ASLA Fellow and is co-editor of an ASLA award winning
book published by McGraw-Hill entitled, "Time-Saver Standards for
Landscape Architecture: Design and Construction Data." Other publications
include books entitled," Landscape Perspective Drawing," "Site
Construction Details Manual," and an award winning interactive
professional reference work entitled, Landscape Construction Details,
CD-ROM. He recently co-authored "The Landscape Architect's Portable
Handbook," a reference work designed for both practice and education.
He currently serves as the technology editor for "Landscape Architecture
Magazine," the official publication of the American Society of
Landscape Architects. |
