Can't Plow That! - Reflections of a Rural Landscape Architect

Jennifer Claster President, Claster Landscape

Jennifer Claster is a CT, MA, ME Licensed Landscape Architect.
With nearly 15 years of experience in multidisciplinary design settings, she has developed lasting connections with professionals in complementary fields and a deep respect for their expertise. In Jennifer's work, she loves the fertile ground of collaboration - working with clients, planners, engineers, artists, architects, and community members to bring project ideas to fruition.
Jennifer's career started in Vermont, where she worked for a small civil engineering firm and then a landscape architecture and planning office. After moving to Maine in 2009, Jennifer spent seven years in the civil engineering group of a large regional engineering firm. Over the years, she have served over 50 municipal clients, as well as state and quasi-governmental agencies, schools, non-profit organizations, and private developers. Always passionate about plants, Jennifer taught landscape design in a horticultural degree program in Maine and now serve on the board of the Wild Seed Project, dedicated to returning native plants to the Maine landscape. She also volunteers her time and expertise to groups working to improve transportation choice.
