STREAMS represent the lotic aquatic communities and are classified as small, medium or large based on stream order.

DERIVED FROM:

Stream tiles created by the Colorado Riparian Mapping Project and combined into a coverage named DAWN_STREAMS.

PROCESS USED TO CREATE:

An item called "newcode" was added to SNEW (a copy of DAWN_STREAMS) and "order" was used to assign size values. This coverage was clipped with UNC10K and then converted to a grid.
