10th Anniversary Celebration
To commemorate our 10th anniversary in April 2005, the Office of Jewish Affairs offered four special programs exemplifying a decade of work building bridges of understanding between Jews and other religious, racial and ethnic communities.
A Land Twice Promised
A one-woman show by Israeli storyteller Noa Baum offering a moving testimony of memories that illuminate the complex history and emotions surrounding Jerusalem for Israelis and Palestinians alike. Based on Baum’s real-life dialogue with a Palestinian woman whom she befriended as their daughters played together, the performance bridges the gap between
East and West, Arab and Jew, past and present.
