Dr. Tudor Parfitt, director of the Center for Jewish Studies at the University of London, has participated in DNA testing [c. 2000] which seems to corroborate the oral tradition of the Lemba people of southern Africa professing Hebrew ancestry.

Sponsored by the Office of Jewish Affairs, Hillel, Afro-American Studies, Judaic & Near Eastern Studies, Black Student Union, Moreshet Network of African Heritage Jews, United Jews of Color of the Pioneer Valley, Kulanu, and Five Colleges, Inc.
