One By One is an international organization of descendants of Holocaust Survivors and former members of the Waffen SS, Nazi party or German bystanders, who have come together for mutual healing through dialogue.
Founded in 1993, One By One now has members in many countries including the United States and Germany.
Five members of One By One participated in a panel discussion at UMass Amherst in April 2005: Martina Emme, Otto Ernst Duscheleit, Rosalie Gerut, Zella Karen Brown, and Marga Dieter.
The program was organized by the Office of Jewish Affairs, in commemoration of our 10th anniversary, and cosponsored by the Germanic Languages & Literatures Program, Amherst College Department of German, and Hatikvah Holocaust Education Center.
