                   The summit will be held in the Campus Center Auditorium at UMass Amherst.

8:30-9am Registration
Morning check-in.
Coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided to attendees.
9-9:10am Greeting
An introduction by Patricia Galvis-Assmus.
9:10-10am Panel 1: Open Collaboration
A panel discussion that will introduce attendees to open collaboration models that are being used today and discuss their professional experiences in the growing open source community.

10-11am Panel 2: Cultivating a 1st Class Education
A panel discussion about building a 1st class education and the role that IT plays in it.

11-12:15pm At Your Own Speed Dating
A networking session allowing educators, professionals, administrators, and students to meet and share their interests.

The Provost will announce and present a new initiative.

2:30-3:30pm 1st Class Education Discussion
Lightning presenters from IT in the Valley session will facilitate breakout discussions educational endeavors.
3:30-4:30pm Getting Wiki with It: Collaborations in Academia
This is a two part session that shares how to work with the academic system to find success for collaborative initiatives and explore options to protect intellectual property.

This session gives attendees a chance to either connect with those they have met during the summit or meet with anyone or project group that they may not have had a chance to meet during the summit .
