Picasa is a free application from Google that helps you manage digital images and video files on your Mac, Windows, or Linux computer. It lets you tag files with keywords for easy searching, organize your library of files into albums (collections), and share your images and videos online. It even has a simple image editor and does geotagging and face-recognition.
