Undergraduate students: You can find advising information in the Advisor box on your Student Center in SPIRE.

Graduate students: With some exceptions in the School of Education, your advisor's information is not available through your Student Center in SPIRE. TIP: Use People Finder to find your advisor's contact information.

• The Advisor box is located on the right side of your Student Center. Click the links in the Advisor box for further details about advising or your advisor.
• If you have an assigned faculty member as an advisor, click the details link to access your advisor’s email address.
• If you do not have an assigned faculty member as an advisor, the information in the Advisors box will be specific to your primary major (including undeclared).
• You can have multiple advisors, e.g., one for each major. All of your assigned faculty member advisors will appear in the Advisor box on your Student Center. Note: If you have multiple majors and no assigned faculty members as advisors, you will see advising information for your primary major only.
• Alternatively, use the SPIRE menu to navigate to Academics > Advisors. The My Advisors page will open. The information on the My Advisors page may not be as complete as the information in the Advisor box.
• If your advising information is incorrect, or if you would like to change advisors, contact your academic department. You cannot update your own advising information in SPIRE.
