Instruction Mode describes the way in which the class content is delivered. Instruction Mode choices for class sections can be as follows:

  • Blended
  • In-Person
  • Independent Study
  • Online
  • Online Plus In Person

Department Scheduling Representatives can choose 'Blended' only after they receive approval from the Registrar's Office.

'Online Plus In Person' is the Instruction Mode used UWW classes.  Most of the class is online. The class will sometimes meet on campus for exams or to discuss the syllabus.  Most university classes do not use this option.

A course that has been set for ‘Online’ cannot be changed after students are enrolled.
