Export Echo360 Grades to the Moodle Grade Book

If you are using Echo360 to grade student participation, you can also export engagement scores into your Moodle gradebook. To do so, you must first create a link in Moodle to your Echo360 content, and then you can export grades. This page explains how to configure the link to your Moodle course using the External tool activity and then how to export grades.

Link and Configure the Echo360 External Tool in Moodle

Before syncing grades, you must first configure the Echo360 External tool activity in Moodle. For instructions, please see Give Students Access to Echo360 Recordings through Moodle. After you have added an Echo360 External tool activity link to your Moodle course, you will need to configure it to Link to the Section Home (all classes) or Link to a Classroom (a single class session). After creating the link to Echo360, Moodle will add a corresponding column for that activity in your gradebook.

Note: If you want to export grades for specific class sessions, you will need to repeat this action for each Echo360 Classroom you want to be linked in your Moodle gradebook.
