Cellular e-Cycle Program

The University of Massachusetts has partnered with e-Cycle (e-cycle.com) to recycle our organization's mobile devices, such as cell phones, smartphones, and tablets and accessories, through their no-cost buyback program.

University departments can easily and securely recycle old University-owned wireless devices by contacting Robby Oswald, UMass Account Manager, (robby.oswald@e-cycle.com) and Kennedy Edwards, (kennedy.edwards@e-cycle.com) to request a postage paid label and to get started.

For Apple and Samsung devices:

It is important to ensure the Apple Find My iPhone/iPad, or Samsung Find My Mobile security feature is deactivated prior to sending out your device.  Please click on the link on the right for the Device Deactivation Instructions.  Failure to deactivate these security features can result in a delay in processing and may result in forfeiture of payment.

IT Cellular Services is no longer accepting mobile devices for recycling.
