TechTalk: Team-based learning in online classes

April 4, 2017 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Digital Brown Bag Event Series

In this Digital Brown Bag, we will discuss principles and practices of online group design and facilitation to engage online students. We'll talk a little theory, see examples, and brainstorm next steps for anyone interesting in developing team-based learning in their online course. Whether you're a new online instructor interested in developing group activities, an experienced instructor wanting to share your experience, or a current face-to-face instructor hesitant to try online teaching because of group work in your current course; this discussion about creating team-based activities that encourage learning and engagement is for you.
