Majority-Minority Boundaries in Europe
My project will explore the conditions under which majority and minority individuals in Europe do and do not share identities with each other. In particular, I will focus on how these identity boundaries may vary across different areas of society, e.g., politics, sports, business, and culture. I begin with a pilot survey in France in summer 2012 and will apply for funding to expand the project within France and to Germany.
