Description:
Grant applications now require descriptions of how applicants plan on preserving
and making available their data. Students in this workshop will learn various steps to
accomplish this. Topics will include; organizing your data, backup and storage, managing
data with tools and post-project considerations. No special knowledge of file or data
management is required to attend.
Course Objectives:
•Introduce best practices for file management
•Learn where and how to back-up data
•Discover data management plan tools and samples
