The State Science & Technology Institute (SSTI), with financial support from NSF SciSIP, is hosting a Colloquium on Science and Innovation Policy Research and Practice connecting research and practice in science and innovation policy as part of SSTI's 2016 Annual Conference November 1-3 in Columbus, Ohio. Scholarships, including funds toward travel costs, are available to support 8-10 graduate students to participate in the conference and colloquium.
The goal is to help the students formulate new policy questions and directions for their research, interact with and interview practitioners to gather case studies and perspectives, and observe the interplay of academic research with the policy and practitioner experience. Participation in certain events and the completion of a brief narrative are required of recipients.
SSTI is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving initiatives that support prosperity through science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
