Research Seminar: Creating a Convincing CV: Content and Format

What goes into a CV? How do I make my CV stand out? Come find out some tips and tricks.  This workshop is aimed at PhD students and others who are creating CVs for the academic job market.

This seminar will feature some critiques of sample CVs, and will include a question and answer session moderated by ISSR Consultant Matthew Denny. At 1 pm, the seminar will continue with a workshop led by Matt, where attendees are invited to work on formatting their CVs. Templates will be provided for download, so attendees should bring their laptops. Matt will go over some formatting tips and help people individually or in groups. 

A light lunch will be served.
