Please join us and our special guests Chancellor Kumble R. Subbaswamy, Provost James Staros, and Vice Chancellor for Research and Engagement Michael Malone. Our featured speaker will be Michèle Lamont, Professor of Sociology and African and African American Studies and Robert I. Goldman Professor of European Studies at Harvard University. She will present a talk on “How Professors Think Across National Contexts,” discussing responses to her book How Professors Think through the lens of the evaluative cultures of peer reviewers and policy experts. A buffet lunch will be served.
Because seating for this event is limited, RSVP is required. Please email your intention to attend no later than January 14 to Karen Mason at firstname.lastname@example.org. Seats will be allocated on a first response basis.
