Python is a popular general-purpose programming language that has been used for a broad range of applications. Designed for individuals with no prior programming experience, the workshop will help users begin to use Python. Participants are strongly recommended to take “Applied Econometrics using Python” after this course.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Write a simple code and generate a .py file for documentation
- Import a raw .csv file to perform data filtering
- Perform simple data operations
- Build skills necessary for introductory statistics/econometrics
