Overview

Yonsei University, founded in 1885, is the Republic of Korea's oldest university. Located in Seoul, the country's thriving capital, Yonsei's 30,000 students live and study on a large forested campus only minutes from the city's palaces, museums, markets, and business center. The Division of International Education at Yonsei offers undergraduate courses taught in English for international students. Regular Yonsei courses taught in Korean are also available for native speakers.

Curriculum

Yonsei's Division of International Education offers courses taught in English for undergraduates in four main areas: International Business (11 offerings), International Relations (21 offerings), East Asian Studies (22 offerings), and Korean Language (beginning to advanced).
Students fluent in Korean may enroll in courses offered by other departments at Yonsei University. Graduate students may enroll as exchange students in the Graduate School of International Studies, which offers courses in the following areas: Korean Studies, Area Studies (China, Japan, America), International Cooperation, International Trade Policy, and International Management. This school offers an MBA program as well.
