It is easiest and quickest to schedule your final air destination at Logan International Airport (BOS) in Boston, Massachusetts since Peter Pan Buslines offers a route (about 5 hours) from Logan Airport to the Amherst UMass bus stop (about $35-cash at station or credit card for reservation on-line). Arriving at Hartford (Bradley) International Airport (BDL) Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
To get to UMass Amherst from BDL, you will need to reserve in advance the shuttle service (about an hour to UMass Bus Stop) offered by Valley Transporter. Schedule and fees ($49) are listed here. You must WALK (10-15 minutes) from the Springfield train station to the bus station to take Peter Pan Buslines from Springfield to UMass Amherst.
