How to Obtain Your Visa Document

If you are new student admitted for the upcoming academic year and have questions, please send an email to cerfs[at]ipo.umass[dot]edu

If you have sent an email to our office, please give us 2-3 business days for processing/reply. Remember to fill out your E forms – please refer to the visa sponsorship email that was sent to you.

Please do keep in mind that an I-20 request is not an emergency and thus, please do not contact the UMass Amherst Police Department.

The International Programs Office (IPO) sponsors visas for students who have been admitted to the University.

Please remember: IPO is a separate office from both the Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions Offices. IPO cannot provide visa sponsorship for any part-time and/or online programs offered at the University.
