Fall 2013 Orientation Schedule
Arrival time on August 29th is between 8:30AM and 9:00PM at the Fine Arts Center (Haigis Mall bus stop). IPO staff will gladly assist you with your move-in process.
ARRIVAL DAY: Move-in time on the 29th for the UMass residence halls is from 8:30AM to 9PM. International Programs Office staff will greet you at the Fine Arts Center, help you get your University ID card (UCard) and transport you to your residence hall.
Transportation Suggestions and Accomodation Suggestions
- Early arrival: If you choose to arrive before the 29th you will need to make hotel arrangements.
- Late arrival: The International Programs Office staff will not be available to assist you. You are responsible for making hotel arrangements. Before you can check into your residence hall, you need to go to room 168 Whitmore on Sunday, September 1st between 9:00-am -5:00 PM to obtain your UCard (you will need to bring your passport with you). The next residence hall move in date is Sunday, September 1st (9:00AM- 9:00 PM).
