Overview

This program allows qualified UMA undergraduates to attend both francophone and anglophone universities in the Province of Québec, Canada. Participating Québec institutions are:

Universitié du Québec-multiple campuses
Bishop's University-Lennoxville
Université de Sherbrooke
Concordia University-Montréal
Université de Montréal
École Polytéchnique-Montréal
Université Laval-Québec

Québec is a completely different world of experience. Crossing the border to our north opens the door to an exciting change of culture, climate and language. Whether attending Laval, the oldest French university in North America, or McGill, the "Harvard" of the North, students will be part of a unique French culture. There are said to be two seasons in Québec --Winter and July -- so snow is a part of life for much of the year.

Curriculum

Study is possible at a Québec university in virtually any field from art to zoology. Particular areas of interest include French, Canadian or Québecois studies, and engineering.

Housing

Housing is available in the university residence halls or assistance is offered in finding off-campus accommodation.
