Overview
The university lies seven miles from the center of Brisbane, a city of almost a million people. The
university hosts 28,000 students in sixty-two different fields of study. The
focus of the attractive campus is the Great Court, a semi-circle of cloistered
buildings faced in sandstone and surrounded by ten residential colleges, science
laboratories, research facilities, and recreation areas. It also houses a
special Australian Studies Centre and an Institute of Modern Languages.
Curriculum
Queensland offers disciplines of interest to UMass students, such as Animal
Science, Biochemistry, Biology, Engineering, Environmental Science, Psychology,
Speech Pathology, Wildlife Management and Conservation, and more.
