October 29, 2013 – UMass IC Fall MinutePitch
Isenberg School of Management, Flavin Auditorium, 5:30 pm
Have an idea that you think could be the start of a great business? Pitch it to a panel of judges and the audience for constructive feedback and prizes to support your efforts. Whether you are planning to enter the UMass Innovation Challenge or just want to test the waters, the MinutePitch is designed as an easy way to get started.

December 3, 2013 – UMass IC Executive Summary and Elevator Pitch Competition
Student Union Building, Cape Cod Lounge, 4:30 pm 
Up to 12 teams pitch their business concepts to a panel of judges who will award up to $10,000 in prizes.

March 2014 – UMass IC Mini Plan Round
A closed-door session between judges and teams which includes pitches, dialogue, and feedback.  Participating teams will be competing for a slot in the final competition.

April 2014 – UMass IC Spring MinutePitch
Have an idea that you think could be the start of a great business? Pitch it to a panel of judges and the audience for constructive feedback and prizes to support your efforts. Thinking of entering the UMass Innovation Challenge next fall?  This is great way to test the waters!

April 15, 2014 – UMass IC Business Plan and Investor Presentation Competition
Amherst Room, 10th Floor Campus Center, 4:30 pm
Hear the final five teams pitch their business plans  to a panel of judges who will award  $50,000+ in prizes.

Innovation and entrepreneurship are team sports. Join us for networking that will help you connect with others who are forming teams or looking for a team to join.

November 2013 – UMass IC Idea to Innovation Workshop: Pitch Around The Secret 
Learn tips on how to pitch an invention's impact and estimated costs without disclosing secret details.

 

Fall 2013 Deadlines

October 18, 2013- Last day to submit your Intent to Compete & Certificate of Eligibility for the MinutePitch Competition; Due by 11:59pm.

October 22, 2013  - Announcement of Finalists for the Fall MinutePitch Competition

November 4, 2013 - Last day to submit your Intent to Compete & Certificate of Eligibility for the IC Executive Summary & Elevator Pitch Competition;  Due by 11:59pm.

November 7, 2013 - Announcement of Finalists for the IC Executive Summary & Elevator Pitch Competition

November 25, 2013 - Last day for selected teams to submit Executive Summary for the Innovation Challenge Elevator Pitch Competition; Due by 12 Noon.
