Sherrill Harbison

Professor Harbison's work focuses on art and intellectual life in 19th- and 20th-century Scandinavia. Her interests include Norwegian literature, Icelandic Eddas and sagas, Sigrid Undset, Knut Hamsun, the Arctic, Native American literature, American Realism, and Willa Cather. (dept. bio)

Markus Huss

Markus Huss, Lecturer in Literary Studies at the Center for Baltic and East European Studies at Södertörn University, Stockholm, is Fulbright-Hildeman Visiting Scholar at UMass Amherst in spring 2017, where ee has taught a seminar on The Making of Multicultural Sweden and helped organize the symposium Managing Multicultural Scandinavia.
