The ICE IGERT program encourages members to apply for Student Training Grants, which support cellular engineering training and outreach initiatives that may not otherwise be funded. To date, over $18,000 has been committed for students to present their research at conferences, procure laboratory manuals, attend professional workshops, and receive on-site training in the laboratories of collaborators and field experts.
